Note that cellular telephone coverage is very unreliable off the New York State Thruway or Massachusetts Turnpike, and you may not be able to telephone from your car once you leave these major routes.

From New York City and Long Island
(a) Interstate Route 87/287 to Taconic State Parkway north to New York State Route 295 north/east to New York State Route 22 north. Continue with directions below - Once on New York State Route 22 North; OR (b) Hutchinson River Parkway to Interstate 684 north to New York State Route 22 north Continue with directions below - Once on New York State Route 22 North; OR (c) New York State Thruway (Interstate 87) north to Exit 21A – Thruway Extension and Massachusetts Turnpike Exit - east to Exit B3 (New York State Route 22/Austerlitz exit) to New York State Route 22 north.

Once on New York State Route 22 North
In the town of New Lebanon, New York, for approximately 1 mile, New York State Route 22 (you’re heading north) and U.S. Route 20 (you’re heading east) run together. When you reach the point where these roads separate again, take the left turn to stay on New York Route 22 north. Then, approximately 6 miles north of where U.S. Route 20 East and New York State Route 22 north separate (you stayed on Route 22 north, right?) at the first traffic light north of Route 20, with a Cumberland Farms plaza on your left, turn right on New York State Route 43. The Mill House Inn is approximately 1 mile on your left on Route 43.

From New Jersey
Garden State Parkway north to New York State Thruway (Interstate 87) north to Exit 21A – Thruway Extension and Massachusetts Turnpike Exit - east to Exit B3 (New York State Route 22/Austerlitz exit) to New York State Route 22 north.

Once on New York State Route 22 North
In the town of New Lebanon, New York, for approximately 1 mile, New York State Route 22 (you’re heading north) and U.S. Route 20 (you’re heading east) run together. When you reach the point where these roads separate again, take the left turn to stay on New York Route 22 north. Then, approximately 6 miles north of where U.S. Route 20 East and New York State Route 22 north separate (you stayed on Route 22 north, right?) at the first traffic light north of Route 20, with a Cumberland Farms plaza on your left, turn right on New York State Route 43. The Mill House Inn is approximately 1 mile on your left on Route 43.

From Boston
Massachusetts Turnpike to end (through toll booth), continue straight onto New York State Thruway west. Before you get a toll ticket or go through any New York State Thruway EZPass booth take Exit B3, Austerlitz/New York State Route 22 to Route 22 north.

Once on New York State Route 22 North
In the town of New Lebanon, New York, for approximately 1 mile, New York State Route 22 (you’re heading north) and U.S. Route 20 (you’re heading east) run together. When you reach the point where these roads separate again, take the left turn to stay on New York Route 22 north. Then, approximately 6 miles north of where U.S. Route 20 East and New York State Route 22 north separate (you stayed on Route 22 north, right?) at the first traffic light north of Route 20, with a Cumberland Farms plaza on your left, turn right on New York State Route 43. The Mill House Inn is approximately 1 mile on your left on Route 43.

Interstate Route 90 east, Exit 8, Deefrestville, Washington Ave./New York State Route 43. Continue on Rte. 43 to the Mill House Inn. We are located just on the Massachusetts/New York border on Route 43.
